Our Farm is Sandy Soil
Sod that comes in a clay backing usually falls apart in route to the job site, and it does not lay as smoothly as a sandy soil sod. Clay soil is also much heavier limiting how much sod can be put onto a pallet and ultimately delivered to the job site. With sandy soil, none of these problems come into play.
